研究生创新中心英语俱乐部在研究生院、党委研究生工作部的直接领导下开展工作，旨在为广大研究生提供一个英语学习和交流的平台。自成立以来，俱乐部坚持以服务广大研究生为己任，以国际化为导向，组织策划了研究生英语演讲比赛、研究生英语配音大赛、研究生英语角等系列活动。在之前活动的基础上，俱乐部将继续举行英语角等活动。现将具体主题公布如下：

Topic in April 10th: Wealth

The theme of the English Corner activity in April 10th is about Wealth. Rank the following in order of importance to you: a) health b) family c) money d) a good reputation e) education. Why did you choose that order? Is there any of these that you could do without? What are the advantages and disadvantages of being rich? Can a person be poor and happy? What do you think the hardest part about being poor would be for you if you were poor? What do you think would be the hardest part about being rich? Come and share your idea with us.

Topic in April 24th: Hobby

The theme of the English Corner activity in April 24th is about Hobby. There are a great many hobbies to choose from. Some people enjoy collecting coins or stamps, others choose to spend their time on sports or music. What are your hobbies? Are your hobbies the intellectual one, the athletic one or something else? If you have a couple hours of free time, what do you want to do for fun? Come and share your idea with us.

本次活动请到口语老师薛夏前来指导。老师简介：

薛夏，郑州大学出国留学培训中心老师，主要研究方向包括生物信息学和太空生物学，辅修社会心理学和人类行为学。2018年于杨百翰大学获得生物学博士学位。两次参加美国科考队，出版了多本翻译书籍。
